Current figures from the Clean Energy Council, AEMO and the Australian Government. Sourced, not estimated.
More than 4.2 million Australian households and small businesses have installed rooftop solar, among the highest uptake rates in the world.
Source: Clean Energy Council, Rooftop Solar and Storage Report, January–June 2025Rooftop solar generated 12.8% of all electricity produced in Australia in the first half of 2025, up from 12.4% across 2024.
Source: Clean Energy Council, Rooftop Solar and Storage Report, January–June 2025Around 271,000 home batteries are now installed across Australia, with 85,000 units sold in the first half of 2025 alone, a 191% increase year on year.
Source: Clean Energy Council, Rooftop Solar and Storage Report, January–June 2025Renewables contributed 39.5% of total electricity generation in 2025: solar 19.6%, wind 14.0% and hydro 4.7%. On-grid renewable share reached a record 42.0%.

“Douglas installed a 10kW solar system with a battery on our place at Buderim. He talked us through the panel layout and why he was putting the inverter where he did, turned up exactly when he said he would, and the cabling and switchboard work is the neatest I have seen. Two days start to finish and the yard was spotless.”
“We had lights tripping the safety switch for months and two other sparkies could not find it. Douglas traced it to a damaged cable in the roof within an hour, replaced it and upgraded our old switchboard while he was there. Clear pricing, explained everything without the jargon.”
“Norfolk did the full electrical fit-out for our workshop: three-phase, LED high bays and a dedicated circuit for the compressor, plus an EV charger out front. He worked around our trading hours so we never lost a day, and handed over all the certificates without us having to chase them.”

Yes. We install solar systems, battery storage, or both together as a single integrated system. Where you already have solar, a battery can usually be added and configured to work with your existing inverter or with a new hybrid inverter.
Yes, please do. Ideally: your address or suburb, a description of the work, photos of the area or switchboard, and for solar or battery enquiries a recent electricity bill or your interval data. The more you can share up front, the more accurate the quotation.
